NS Part 4

Kraf Hutan & Wirajaya

When I first went into Kampung Survivor, my first impression would be: "Wow, how come I never knew the existence of this place??" It was definitely breath-taking... It somehow reminded me of my uni's lecture hall...

Wirajaya was the highlight of our camp... It required all the knowledge we had learnt in order to survive our 2 days 1 night stay in the jungle... We had to carried the uncomfortable waterproof bag and hike for around 4 hours before reaching our destination... Man! I was sweating all the way to campsite... Finally, we reached our campsite... Gosh!!! What a disappointment it is!!! I felt like being cheated... Apparently our campsite was only less than an hour walk from the main road and Cikgu Jungle made us hike for nearly 4 hours!!! However it was a good experience as we got to pass through several caves and rivers... p^o^q

On our way to campsite...

*Yummy*

See the squirrel there???

Close up of the roasted squirrel...

At night, me and my friends sat together and enjoy the night sky which was filled with shining star... It wasn't like any of the night view in KL... Simply magnificient... I could have just fall in love with the stars... Later that night, Xin Ying, Hui, me, Yan Ting and Yat laid under the tent and began chatting among us... It was such a wonderful night... Then, around midnight, we were went into the jungle without any touch light... Gosh!! It was super scary... All of us held tightly to the belt of the front person and this made walking difficult... In the jungle, we asked to identify the source of the sound being made... Then, on our way, something occurred... Sabrina and Ana went missing!!! It seemed like they had wondered off... It was a terrifying moment knowing that they were alone in the jungle... However, after an intense search, they were finally found... Phew~~

On the last day, we set up stoves and cooked our lunch... It was quite fun cooking and making tea with friends... Just as the day couldn't gone better, suddenly there came a heavy downpour... All of us scrambled to clear our stuff and try to outrun the rain... Well, in the end, I just gave up and let the rain came pouring down my face... Actually it has been a long looong time since I walked under the rain... And so, we ended our camping trip soaking wet...

Dreams...

*Sigh* Quite a number of friends went to study abroad... So envy of them... Why are they so rich? Why are they so lucky? Why are they so carefree? Able to leave everyone, everything behind... Sometimes it is good not to have any burden on your shoulder... Anyway I digress... I meant to say that I really really really want to study abroad... I want to experience the culture, social life etc etc and most importantly I wanna broaden my horizon... Lately, I keep wondering whether I should be a little bit more persistent and maybe stubborn in order to fulfill my dreams... Just like Hui... But then I keep telling myself that here is not bad either... I don't have to go UK to be successful: I still can achieve success here... I have to keep telling myself that I am already quite lucky for having Star to cover my tuition fees... If not, I won't be able to afford such a good uni not in a million years... If only the mobility study is available for business student once more...... Well I guess for now I am stuck here in Malaysia and have to learn to be grateful for what I have now... And for all those who are out there pursue their dreams, I wish you ALL THE BEST & GOOD LUCK!!!

Every Friday we chinese would go to 佛堂 in order to pray... It was an one-and-the-half-hours journey before we could reach our destination which is situated in Kuala Terengganu... However, on the journey, we were blessed by the wonderful seaside view & countryside view (although most of us usually sleep through the whole journey... hehe...)

不要忘了
我们一起打排球的日子
不要忘了
你就是Ah Hock
不要忘了
Agro GO! FIGHT!! WIN!!!

Tine tine 送你外套,
歆颖送你相片,
而我把我们在NS的回忆送给你…

NS Part 2

Here's the second part...

Khidmat Komuniti
Well, I also recalled quite alot of memories from Khidmat Komuniti... There is this boring lecture when Jabatan Pertahanan Awam (JPA3) and Polis Diraja Malaysia came... But most of them are fun!!! We went to visit villages in Terengganu... We went to visit this village which produces fruits... Watermelons, duku langsats and a fruit which I forget the name... Hehe sorry! We threw stones and sticks in order to get this fruit down from the big tall tree... And then there was once when we visited yet another village... We visited their fish paste factory which STINKS alot... Me and my friends even went into the big refrigerator which stored alot of fish and fish paste... Hehehe... so sampat =P Afterwards, we also went to a villager's house to watch him take nirah from the coconut tree and produce gula melaka... *Yummy*
