Special Report

We hereby interrupt this blog to bring you Special Report of Lyn's Daily Life. XD

As you all know, rumour has been flying around the city: petrol price is RISING at midnight of 4th June 2008! Although being quite sceptical, I went to queue up at the nearest petrol station due to the "kiasu"ness. The jam was like CRAZY!!! even before I reach BHP.

So here is my looongest trip to petrol station :

ard 8.00pm : Went out to BHP. A bit jam around Petronas... Well actually its very jam : The whole two lane of the road is packed with cars queueing to pump petrol at Petronas. So those who did not want to pump petrol or had did so were stuck there for quite a while. *Poor thing*

ard 8.10pm : Reached BHP. Was quite happy coz I was the fourth in line... So I was like: "Okay,
this will be done in no time at all. Then I can get out of there. No worries."

between 8.10pm and 8.15pm : Saw this lady pumping petrol into a big white container in her car boot... Is this even LEGAL? *sigh* Lucky for her I din manage to take picture or else sure will report her...

ard 8.15pm : Finally!!! After the van, it would be my turn. WAKAKA... I am so lucky... Suddenly,
out of no where, came this stupid motor in front of my car. =.=" Hello, dunno how to queue up ar?!? "Okay never mind. Sabar itu iman... *deep breath deep breath*" I even let the white Myvi from the opposite side to pump before me!


ard 8.20pm : OKAYZ I am done! Now lets get out of here!!! Hmmmm... but how leh??? I am stucked. The traffic is not moving AT ALL because a stupid green Wira is blocking the entrance. It was a choas. Man, really don't understand why people like to cut queue. Don't they know that

"Cut queue = MORE TRAFFIC = WASTE TIME"

ard 8.25pm: Phew~~~ I am out of the petrol station. Okay lets go home...

(from here onwards, there is only two words to describe my journey back home ---- TRAFFIC JAM)

As I turn to the main road, (=.=)" even jam! After a good 10 minutes wait, I decided to take another route. Well, and guess what, JAM JAM JAM JAM JAM!!!!!!! OMG!!! This is like MTV Boiling Point - testing my patience only.

Just recently, I only realised that there are a total of 5 petrol stations around my living area. And the only two entrances to my house are guarded by 3 petrol stations. =.=" So basically no matter which route I take it is useless. =.=' In the end I reached home around 9.15pm...

Dreadful Holiday

I have no idea whether holiday is a good thing or not. I mean 1 or 2 days of holiday is okay lar. At least you can get a day off relaxing or do whatever you want to do. But now I have about 3 months holiday (sorry no meaning to brag or anything) and this is just the first week! Man, how am I gonna survive this? All I did for the week was eat, sleep, play, watch and sometimes read. Feeling quite meaningless right now. Its quite an irony now that I kindda starting to miss assignments etc etc etc. But when I have assignments, I kindda look forward to holidays. *sigh*

Car Trouble...

Have you ever tried to lock your car with a steering wheel lock to prevent car thief? I am sure everybody does. Well, what about the steering wheel lock prevent YOU-- the rightful owner of the car from moving your very own car? Well as hysterical as it may seem, this particular event did indeed happen to me!!!

Today I am suppose to have Maths exam from 4.30pm to 6pm. Then I am supppose to fetch my sis from school and have dinner together. Well this could have been a reality if only my car did not give me trouble again.

Right after my exam, I was in a hurry to leave uni but my car steering lock won't seem to open! After a few good try and not to risk breaking the key, I decided to call for help but then no one could come to my rescue T.T (most of my friends' handphones were off due to the exam earlier =.=') I had to walk all the way back to my room and asked my room mates to help me. But nothing seemed to help. We tried rubbing some oil on it but it still won't budge. STUPID STUBBORN LOCK!!!!!!

I even tried to drive the car with the lock on! It was embarassing as I had to drive my car around the campus with the lock on the steering wheel! I was practically driving like a person who doesn't know how to drive. In the end, I only manage to drive my car to my apartment. This had proven one thing that is steering wheel lock does work!!! You can't go too far with it on your steering wheel.

Then I asked help from the guard. Luckily, the brilliant guard uncle helped me to break the lock by using screwdriver only. Imagine a tool that you think would protect your car can be broken off with just a screwdriver and a few muscles. Well anyhow, I am glad that my lock is not tough in this case. Anyway my car had regain its freedom again!!! ^.^ Thank you! Thank you!

Apparently this little small thing is the one that keep car thieves away and the one that causes me so much trouble. Well I guess it can retire now. LOL

Insomnia

I have been suffering from insomnia for the past few weeks... Now the longer hand of clock shows 12 and the other shows 5... Okay I will tell you the time... Its 5 AM... Darn!! Why can't I sleep? The only possible reason that I could think of would be the "training" I undergone for the past 3 semesters. Now I have 2 panda eyes... No thanks to the lectures, assignments... =.="
